I am fairly certain, as a Beatles fan since the age of 12, that Ringo is half-Jewish. It was not uncommon for celebrities to deny or downplay Jewish heritage just a few decades ago. You see it with Howard Stern and Andrew Dice Clay having falsely claimed to be half-Italian, rather than fully Jewish, in the past. With someone like Seth Rogen, the situation is quite the opposite. He plays UP his Jewish heritage in the belief that it will benefit his career.
